John retired from a 16-year-long law enforcement career where he got to experience everything from working in the areas of corrections, uniform patrol, special operations, and law enforcement instruction. His love of the firearms hobby helped John gravitate to the law enforcement profession and resulted in his eventual appointment to his agency's training division as a general law enforcement instructor, teaching many topics, including firearms and tactics.
