Equipped with newly-made and reloadable brass cases, reliable and consistent boxer primers, and the 64 grain tracer projectile, these cartridges are a great choice for shooting at night, to see if your shots are headed where you want them. Additionally, tracers are great for judging the performance of a certain grain weight or barrel length, testing for ricochet, and marking the bottom of a magazine. Some law enforcement officers and soldiers use these sorts of tracer rounds to mark the end of a magazine to prevent the dreaded moment where you hear a "click" and no bang, while you are away from cover. Instead, with tracers, you would see the tracers moving downrange and know you are running low on ammo, allowing you to move into cover to reload the weapon.
