Faxon Firearms was founded in 2012 by brothers Bob and Barry Faxon, both Eagle Scouts and NRA members with a passion for precision shooting and manufacturing excellence.

The company emerged from Faxon Machining, which was established in 1978 in Cincinnati, Ohio, bringing over four decades of precision machining expertise to the firearms industry.

Bob Faxon conceived the idea for Faxon Firearms in 2011 when he wanted to design an AR-15 upper with all the features he desired but couldn't find in existing products.

Over the years, Faxon has grown from a 4,500 square foot facility to a 185,000 square foot, state-of-the-art operation on 15 acres, serving defense, aerospace, and firearms markets.

Today, Faxon Firearms continues to manufacture premium rifle barrels, handgun barrels, and complete firearms with the same precision machining standards that have made them a trusted supplier to major defense companies and government agencies.
