Fiocchi .223 Rem 55 Gr FMJ

I bought a single box just to test it out because it was a hell of a deal for the price at the time, but I won't be using it again. A lot of the rounds were damaged almost like someone did a bad reload job because several of the casings were damaged and severely bent around the mouth. I used a mag loader in really low light at night, so that's why i didn't notice some of the rounds were no good. Anyway, the ammo kept jamming my AR. I had to mortar it a dozen times, which was the first time I ever had to do that since I've had that rifle. So I finally just switched mags and used my preferred ammo. It ran clean. No problems at all. I even unloaded then reloaded that first mag with new ammo just to make sure the mag wasn't the problem and it fed fine with the other ammo in it. I deduced that it was basically a bad box i purchased. I guess that happens sometimes with the cheaper ammo. My AR really likes the premium stuff so i won't be using anything less than that anymore. Word of advice. Just buy the good shit and it'll save you a lot of problems.
