About CVA
Connecticut Valley Arms (CVA) was founded in 1971, beginning with traditional side-lock muzzleloading rifles and build-it-yourself rifle kits.
The company evolved from manufacturing traditional muzzleloaders to becoming America's pioneer in modern in-line muzzleloader technology.
In 1999, Blackpowder Products, Inc. acquired CVA's assets and relocated operations to Duluth, Georgia, with manufacturing taking place at a state-of-the-art facility in Bergara, Spain.
Since 2003, CVA has sold more guns each year than any other muzzleloading brand, earning the distinction as America's #1 selling muzzleloader brand for over a decade.
Today, CVA continues to lead the industry with innovative muzzleloaders and centerfire rifles designed for hunters and shooting enthusiasts nationwide.
