Excellent Rounds, Awesome Prices!
I really like these rounds. The 38 grain copper plated hollow points (CPHP), hit hard without tearing up small game meat or hides. While it is important to always match the ammunition selected with not only the firearm, but also with the intended target. As a side note, it has been my experience that semiautomatic weapons prefer rounds that travel near to 1200fps and bolt action weapons are much less "finicky" that way. My 70 year old "Mossberg" model 144, bolt action, magazine fed rifle eats everything I feed it with very little notice, making it all the more flexible for hunting or target shooting. Additionally, it gives me a great deal of choices in choosing ammunition, and thereby greater responsibility to make good choices in matching load to target as I mentioned earlier. I recommend that you take advantage of these awesome prices to try different loads to find two things, first, loads that you particular rifle likes and cycles cleanly and reliably and then secondly, the weight and speed within that group that produces the most consistent "point of impact" to "point of aim" that is appropriate for the intended target. At these prices, now that the weather is getting nice, take some time and a friend or spouse out to the range and do some research and have some fun learning some new aspects of your weapon of choice. I know I will Be! Maybe we'll see you on the range. STAY SAFE, GOD Bless and exexcise the freedoms we enjoy.
