MTM Case-Gard was founded in 1968 by Bill Minneman, a toolmaker who started the company in his basement with "a simple idea for storing ammo."

Bill partnered with his brother Robert Minneman to grow their molding business before launching MTM Molded Products from Bill's love of hunting and shooting sports.

Within 10 years of founding, all six of Bill's children joined the business and remain involved full-time today, maintaining the family ownership and American manufacturing tradition.
