Drop in replacements that can easily bring your firearm back to original condition after a modification on your original slide or after a catastrophic event will help you bring back the pistols you love to shoot. Having a replacement slide to make a conversion kit, caliber changing top-end or allowing you to modify the slide to your specific competition or tactical needs (perhaps a holographic sight cut or a different style of optic), gives you the type of freedom that can only come from having extra component parts.
