About Daisy
For over 140 years, Daisy Outdoor Products has been America's premier manufacturer of air guns and BB guns, earning recognition as the world's oldest and largest marketer of airguns and accessories.
Founded in 1882 as the Plymouth Iron Windmill Company in Plymouth, Michigan, by watchmaker and inventor Clarence J. Hamilton, the company initially manufactured steel windmills.
The famous "Daisy" name originated in 1888 when General Manager Lewis Cass Hough exclaimed "It's a Daisy!" after firing Hamilton's revolutionary all-metal air rifle prototype on March 6, 1888.
In 1895, the company changed its name to Daisy Manufacturing Company and switched focus entirely to air guns, establishing a legacy that would introduce more Americans to their first shooting experience than any other brand.
Today, headquartered in Rogers, Arkansas, and owned by Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co. since 2016, Daisy continues its commitment to youth shooting education and providing safe, reliable air guns for generations of American families.
