The Winchester XPR is an innovative rifle that meets the performance expectations of today's demanding hunters. The feature-packed XPR bolt-action rifle embodies the lasting quality associated with Winchester Repeating Arms. At the heart of every XPR rifle is Winchester's M.O.A. Trigger System, constructed with polished and hardened carbon steel components for added durability and corrosion resistance. The two-position safety is conveniently operated with the thumb of the firing hand, and the bolt release button allows the action to cycle unfired cartridges while the safety is on. The cocking indicator on the bolt shroud provides both a tactile and visual reference of the rifle's cocked or uncocked condition.

The robust XPR bolt, crafted from chromoly steel barstock and through-hardened during heat treatment, features three front locking lugs and a short 60-degree lift for improved scope clearance when cycling. A tough nickel Teflon coating ensures smooth operation and added corrosion resistance. The one-piece trigger guard and magazine frame design offer a generous guard opening for use with gloves. The chromoly steel barrel on the XPR rifle is precisely button-rifled to create outstanding accuracy with a wide variety of bullet weights and types. The entire barrel is free-floating to eliminate accuracy-robbing pressure points. Additional features include a drilled and tapped chromoly steel receiver, synthetic stock with an Inflex Technology recoil pad, and a detachable single stack box magazine. This compact model features a shorter length of pull and a Perma-Cote matte gray metal finish.

The Winchester XPR in 6.5 PRC caliber comes with a 22" button-rifled free-floating barrel and a recessed target crown. It has a capacity of 3+1 and an overall length of 41.25". The rifle is equipped with a right-hand synthetic stock finish in black and a blued/black metal finish.
