Winchester 243 Win 22 5+1 Bolt Action Rifle 535203212

The Winchester Model 70, a benchmark in bolt-action rifles since 1936, continues to set the standard with its precision and reliability. Featuring a three-position safety, it allows convenient thumb operation, lifting the firing pin away from the sear for added safety. The forged steel receiver, crafted from a solid block of steel, boasts a flat bottom profile to maximize bedding surface area. This receiver is bedded with a two-part epoxy at both the front and rear, ensuring stability within the stock during firing.

The Model 70's classic controlled round feed (CRF) bolt design includes a massive claw extractor that secures about one-quarter of the cartridge base, maintaining full control from magazine to ejection. This design also allows for the extraction of an unfired cartridge, even if not fully chambered. The M.O.A. Trigger System, renowned as the most precise three-lever trigger system globally, enhances accuracy and fit, complemented by a blade-type ejector for controlled case ejection.

The free-floating barrel, button rifled for superior accuracy and durability, is a standout feature of this super grade model. The rifle showcases an AAA French walnut stock and polished metal finish, exuding elegance and performance. With a blued high polish metal finish, 22-inch barrel, 5+1 capacity, and a three-position safety, this rifle is designed for right-hand users and features a Grade IV/V walnut stock, 1:10" twist, recessed target crown muzzle, and drilled and tapped sights. The Winchester Model 70 remains an iconic choice for discerning shooters.
