SnapSafe Gun Safes
About SnapSafe
SnapSafe was founded in 2009 by Edward J. McGunn, a third-generation safe builder who revolutionized the firearm storage industry.
As a gun collector facing the costly and dangerous challenge of moving a traditional heavy safe to his second-story home, Ed knew there had to be a better solution.
He created the world's first modular gun safe system that comes in lightweight pieces and locks together exactly where needed, offering the security of a traditional welded safe without the hassle.
In 2015, Hornady Manufacturing acquired SnapSafe, allowing the company to expand its innovative consumer-direct model with an attractive dealer program.
Today, SnapSafe continues to make buying an in-home safe as easy as purchasing any home appliance, allowing homeowners to install their security safes exactly where they want them.
