About Sharps Bros

Sharps Bros was founded in 2012 by John Sharps, a lifelong gun enthusiast with decades of manufacturing and product development experience.

The company began as a one-man business in Eugene, Oregon, creating custom AR-15 lower receivers that moved away from standard mil-spec designs.

The inspiration came from John's experience as a technical diver who discovered WWII aircraft in Lake Washington, leading to the iconic Hellbreaker design inspired by P-40 Warhawk Flying Tiger nose art.

Sharps Bros revolutionized AR-15 lower receiver aesthetics by creating visually distinctive, highly detailed receivers machined from premium 7075-T6 billet aluminum.

Today, the company has evolved into a full-fledged product design and manufacturing organization, expanding beyond AR-15 lowers to include AR-10 receivers, chassis systems, and pistol components.
