SB Tactical was founded in 2012 by Alessandro "Alex" Bosco, a USMC and Army veteran who witnessed a disabled combat veteran struggling to control an AR-15 pistol at a shooting range.
After the range master asked the veteran to stop firing due to safety concerns, Bosco was determined to help his friend and other wounded veterans by developing the first Pistol Stabilizing Brace prototype in his garage.
The company received ATF approval in November 2012, with the agency stating the brace "does not convert that weapon to be fired from the shoulder" and would not alter firearm classification.
SB Tactical has evolved from a garage startup into the industry-leading manufacturer of pistol braces, transforming the possibilities of large-frame pistols.
The company remains committed to providing firearms enthusiasts what they need while defending the rights of law-abiding Americans.
