Ruger's Security 9 is compact for easy concealment. Its precision machined, hard coated aluminum chassis features full-length guide rails, a through-hardened alloy steel slide and barrel, and high-performance, glass-filled nylon grip frame. The Secure Action combines the smooth trigger pull of the LCP with a short, crisp feel and positive reset while the textured grip frame provides a secure and comfortable grip. An internal, Secure Action hammer provides strong ignition force yet allows for easier slide racking. Its front cocking serrations allow for positive slide manipulation. The Security 9 also features drift adjustable sights, manual safety, and includes two alloy steel magazines.
This model has a 15-round capacity.

Bought a Security 9 a couple years ago and have shot many mags out of it with zero issues. The pistol fits the hand well, and holding it to aim feels natural.

Great quality
Advantages
Fits my hand well, shoots accuratly, hasn't had any of the "typical" malfunctions (FTF, FTE, ect.). The only problem I had was the head of the take down pin came off, and I had Ruger send me a new one (no problem, quick service!).
Disadvantages
The only one was the head of the take down pin coming off (mentioned above). Ruger handled it quickly with no hassle (didn't have to wait for the pin to be shipped to them before sending the replacement take down pin).

I've had a Ruger pistol for 40 yoars, and gotten exceptional service from them. This is no exception to that record of service.
