The RTAC Mag Marker band exists to help identify the various calibers that PMAGs can contain these days. This RT-15 is chambered in 5.56, so it comes with the appropriate 5.56 Mag Markers. Your weapon will have a Mag Marker wrapped around the magwell and inside the trigger guard, and you can add the included 5.56 markers to your extra magazines as well. These come in grey and black, and fit perfectly around PMAGs or other magazines, and your rifle's magwell.
To remove or swap the Mag Marker, simply pop open the trigger guard by pushing out the locking pin inside the trigger guard. This will open the guard, allowing the marker to be taken off or swapped for another color or caliber if you are switching upper receivers also.
