C&H Precision Optics
About C&H Precision
C&H Precision began as a garage startup in 2012 when US Marine Corps veteran Buck Holly left his government job in Washington D.C. to become an entrepreneur.
Holly's motivation was deeply personal - he wanted to be home every night to raise his kids and be present for his family rather than missing out due to government travel.
In fall 2017, after relocating the business from Florida to Richmond Hill, Georgia, Holly faced a major crisis when his marriage ended and he had no savings left.
In a desperate but determined move, he lived in his commercial building, turning an unused office into his bedroom and running operations 24/7 to boost production.
This sacrifice paid off dramatically, as C&H Precision achieved 1,606% revenue growth between 2019-2021 and was named the fastest-growing manufacturing business in the southeastern United States by Inc. Magazine.
Today, the company operates from a state-of-the-art 50,000-square-foot headquarters and was named "Large Business Of The Year" by Bryan County Chamber of Commerce.
Holly's mission emphasizes "performance over fluff and community over corporate gloss," focusing on capable, American-made products built with integrity.
