Brown Bear ammo is created in Barnaul, Russia, with a steel case and a brown protective lacquer. These cases are fitted with non-corrosive berdan primers and propellants, and an FMJ projectile. Excellent ammunition for training, or recreational shooting, these Brown Bear rounds are also subsonic. This means that you can fire these rounds without breaking the sound barrier, and can run these rounds through a suppressor for a very quiet day on the range. Oftentimes, if a subsonic round fired through a suppressor is quiet enough, the noisiest part of the process is actually the weapon's internals clacking around as it ejects and cycles another cartridge. These Brown Bear rounds are a great choice for sharpening your skills and aim at a range, or for simple recreational shooting.
