About Berry's Bullets

Berry's Bullets has been a family-owned leader in the ammunition industry since 1961, when Ray Berry founded the company in his garage in Fontana, California.

After an industrial accident blinded Ray in 1970, his 18-year-old son Gilbert took over the company and revolutionized the business by shifting focus from loaded ammunition to bullets for reloaders.

Gilbert pioneered the copper plating process that became Berry's signature innovation, creating a cost-effective alternative to expensive FMJ bullets while eliminating lead fouling issues.

In 2015, Tony Berry became the third-generation owner, expanding the product line to include jacketed .223 bullets and numerous new products while maintaining the family's core values of "God, Family, and Country."

Today, Berry's Manufacturing operates from St. George, Utah, producing approximately 40 million bullets per month and setting the industry standard for superior plated bullets.

Popular Berry's Bullets Features

Proprietary Copper Plating Process

  • The double-struck electroplating process creates a solid bond between copper and lead core, ensuring consistent accuracy and eliminating lead exposure during handling.

Indoor Range Safe Design

  • Complete copper encapsulation prevents lead fouling, making Berry's bullets ideal for indoor shooting facilities and high-volume practice sessions.

Polygonal Barrel Compatibility

  • The thick copper plating prevents lead fouling in Glock polygonal barrels, making Berry's bullets a popular choice among Glock shooters.

Tight Manufacturing Tolerances

  • The re-striking process after plating ensures dimensional consistency and the tightest tolerances available in plated bullets.

Cost-Effective Performance

  • Berry's bullets provide FMJ-like performance at significantly lower cost than traditional jacketed bullets while handling higher velocities than cast lead bullets.

Made in USA Quality

  • All products are manufactured in Berry's state-of-the-art facility in St. George, Utah, using quality control processes refined over 60+ years.
