About Armasight

Armasight was founded in 2011 by Dmitry Rocklin, a visionary with over 30 years of experience in night vision and thermal technology.

The company began as a boutique brand focused on delivering advanced thermal and night vision solutions for military, first responders, and consumers.

In the early 2010s, Armasight released the first commercially available thermal weapon sight, which became the industry standard that competitors follow.

The company was acquired by FLIR Systems in 2016 for $41 million and later relaunched as an independent company under new ownership.

Today, Armasight continues to innovate as one of the few manufacturers that can claim their products are designed and built in the USA.
