Product Details
Golden Saber is a favorite of police forces around the country and one of the most trusted self-defense rounds available today. With Golden Saber high performance jacket (HPJ) handgun ammo, the driving band makes the difference bullet diameter directly ahead of the driving band is reduced from groove to bore diameter, so the bullet is precisely aligned before the driving band engages the rifling. The result: match grade accuracy and reduced barrel friction. The driving band locks the jacket and core together for maximum weight retention and core/jacket integrity.

Excellent defensive round.
I've recently gotten a concealed carry permit for North Carolina, and this cartridge provides me with the stopping power I need for the small "carry everywhere" pistol. At home, I use a much bigger and more powerful pistol for "home defense, but that pistol is a bit big for everyday carry.

Excellent Ammo
Fortunately I haven't had to shoot anyone with this, so I can't comment on real world terminal ballistics. I have every confidence it will perform. With 380, shot placement is critical, and this Golden Saber shoots very well with consistency. Its a great price, so I can get plenty of practice with the actual ammo I carry. I use other calibers of Golden Saber as well, and I have never had any ammo issue.
