These advanced self-defense cartridges are designed to pair with carry sized pistols that have small barrels of about 3 inches. Sig Sauer 365 ammunition reaches terminal velocity quicker, and burns propellants entirely before the projectile leaves the short pistol barrel. This is unlike many other cartridges, which are not optimized for small pistols and short barrels, and leave powder un-burnt or burning after the bullet has already left the barrel. Additionally, these advanced rounds are loaded for a softer felt recoil, so in a lightweight carry pistol muzzle flip will be far less severe, allowing for more accurate follow-up shots and more confidence in every trigger squeeze.
