Since I'm using this as I home defense ammo I can't speak about its effectiveness. However, as I cycle about 10 rounds each week at the range, I've had no issues firing it out of my XD9. While promotional material shouldn't be the sole reason to buy it knowing that it's made for the Israeli military is a pretty solid reference.
