Golden Saber is a favorite of police forces around the country and one of the most trusted self-defense rounds available today. With Golden Saber high performance jacket (HPJ) handgun ammo, the driving band makes the difference bullet diameter directly ahead of the driving band is reduced from groove to bore diameter, so the bullet is precisely aligned before the driving band engages the rifling. The result: match grade accuracy and reduced barrel friction. The driving band locks the jacket and core together for maximum weight retention and core/jacket integrity.

If the energy and FPS are true this is soft shooting round. My Glock cycles well. Iâ€:tm:ve found several gel test videos that look good to me. And itâ€:tm:s cheap enough to train with it. Iâ€:tm:m happy... I am hard to please.

Great ammo
I really like this ammo. It has less recoil than the 230grain. The recoil is between a 38 +P and light 37 magnum. I think it makes a great CC ammo. It is definitely lighter than the 230 which lightens the weapon weight a bit. It shoots well from all my 45 pistols, I recommend it.

Price of ammo is ok but....
Price of ammo is ok but shipping prices will limit my future purchases and using FedEx is a mistake
They misdirected one of my orders causing an undue delay. Frankly, it's going to be cheaper for me to take a 30 min ride into PA and but ammo at Wal-Mart

Feeds Perfectly, Great Test Results
This ammo feeds perfectly in my Shield .45, recoil approximates non +P 230 gr. self defense ammo. This ammo also tests very favorably through four layers of denim into a gel block, very consistent expansion and penetration, besting many of the more expensive ammo.
