About Wicked Tree Gear

Wicked Tree Gear was founded in the early 2010s by Todd Pringnitz, an engineer and passionate bowhunter from Mount Pleasant, Iowa.

Todd created the company with a mission to "fix what was broken" by building bomb-proof tree trimming equipment that was precise enough to function properly for the life of the product.

The company's flagship product, the Wicked Tough Handsaw, launched in 2011 and revolutionized the hand saw market with its unbreakable construction.

Tragically, founder Todd Pringnitz passed away in February 2019 from injuries sustained in an ATV accident at age 41, leaving behind a legacy of innovation in cutting tools.
