Unique-ARs was founded during the Great Recession by Jim Corbet in McCall, Idaho, starting as a garage-based operation focused on custom firearms.

Jim began by building his own CNC equipment and designing custom gear he loved to use, which naturally led to creating unique firearms.

With help from friends and family, the company evolved from three cousins manufacturing floating handguards to a full-fledged operation with 14 employees.
