TR Imports was founded in 2002 as a joint venture with Turkey's most important distributor, establishing themselves as the only true Turkish-American joint venture manufacturer among U.S. importers.

The Fort Worth, Texas-based company began with a mission to offer exclusive Turkish shotguns at affordable prices with unparalleled access to unique Turkish products.

In September 2013, TR Imports became the exclusive U.S. distributor for Titan rifles from Roessler Waffen GmbH of Austria, expanding beyond their shotgun origins.

The company further diversified in January 2016 when Sarsilmaz selected them to distribute their handguns and shotguns in the U.S., adding a 137-year-old European manufacturer to their portfolio.
