The Steyr SSG 08 is a high-precision, high-performance rifle meticulously designed to meet the stringent requirements of Austria's EKO Cobra anti-terrorism unit. Engineered for professional applications in demanding environments, this rifle boasts a folding hard eloxal-coated aircraft-aluminum stock with an adjustable rear monopod. The cheek piece is both vertically and horizontally adjustable, while the recoil pad can be adjusted horizontally by adding or removing spacers and vertically by sliding the pad itself.

The Steyr SSG 08 features a configurable pistol grip with interchangeable back straps to accommodate different hand sizes and optimize grip. The action is equipped with a 20-MOA Picatinny rail, and the forend supports short Picatinny rails on both sides.
