Sog Powerlock EOD Multi-Tool Black

Utilizing the reliable PowerLock chassis, SOG stands alone in integrating Compound Leverage technology into Explosive Ordnance Disposal tools. This innovation simplifies the process of crimping blasting caps and demolition cords by requiring less manual force. A distinctive feature of SOG is the strategic placement of the crimper within the handle, as opposed to the plier jaw found in other designs. This design choice reduces the risk of damaging the crimper and allows for the full use of the plier surface without interruption. Additionally, it prevents the weakening of the pliers, which can lead to breakage at the tips. The crimper delivers non-flaring crimps with high pull-out strength, complying with government fuse specifications, and also includes a hard wire cutter. SOG’s Compound Leverage technology ensures smoother and easier operation when opening and gripping. The robust PowerLock houses 18 tools, all crafted from 420 stainless steel to offer resistance against corrosion.
