About Pure Precision

Pure Precision was founded in 2017 as Mesa Precision Arms by co-founders John Hakes and Chad Drayer in Grand Junction, Colorado.

The veteran-owned company was established with a mission to combine precision engineering with passionate craftsmanship in custom rifle manufacturing.

In February 2023, Mesa Precision Arms rebranded to Pure Precision to better differentiate within the industry and support rapid expansion of their manufacturing capabilities.

The company has made significant contributions to precision rifle innovation, particularly in lightweight design through titanium actions and carbon fiber integration.

Today, Pure Precision operates as a standalone company committed to building their legacy through every rifle they build, every relationship they earn, and every product they manufacture.
