Designed for excellent performance in smoothbore barrels, the Deep Penetrator hollow-point slug provides clean seperation of it's components after exiting the muzzle. In addition, this makes for groups as tight as 1.4 inches at 50 yards. The higher antimony lead is also perfect for ripping through tough tissue which makes for better terminal performance on big game such as hogs and bears.

Good price, but the actual copper on the slugs was kind of delapidated. I expected better from federal. Ammo depot sent them out timely, and did their part well though. The slugs look and should shoot good though, besides not cosmetically looking the best.
