The FX-9 upholds extreme reliability with a wide range of ammo, including many hollow point designs for self-defense and full metal jacket. Non-jacketed ammunition is not recommended due to the potential for fouling and buildup that plated and jacketed bullets avoid. Aluminum case ammunition or the brand Zinc Point ammunition should not be used, as they may cause damage to the FX-9 and void the warranty. Designed to be completely modular, the FX-9 can be outfitted with any Freedom Ordnance barrel length and customized with a nearly endless array of AR-15 accessories, allowing for any configuration needed for your next mission.

Made in the USA, the FX-9 represents freedom to the extreme. The FX-9 sling models feature a QD receiver end plate designed with quarter-turn rotational over-travel stops and a heavy-duty 1.5 adjustable polyester sling with an adjustable inner length of 42-58 inches. The sling models also include a faux suppressor and a foam buffer tube cover. As this model is braceless, it does not fall under NFA guidelines. The FX-9 features a semi-auto action, a 9mm caliber, a 4-inch barrel length, a 32+1 capacity, a manual thumb safety, black A2 grips, and is optic ready with an overall length of 19 inches.
