About Challenger Munitions

Challenger Munitions was founded in 1983 by Elie Zarifé in Saint-Justine-de-Newton, Quebec, Canada.

Zarifé was motivated to start building shotshells because clay-shooters and hunters couldn't get ammunition at the right price.

The company began with a simple mission: to provide quality shotgun ammunition at fair prices when shooters were struggling to find affordable options.

From its humble beginnings in 1983, Challenger has grown to become one of Canada's most well-known shotshell manufacturers.
