Blue Polycoated rounds - intended for use with Suppressors
These Blue Poly Coated Subsonic rounds leave less lead behind thanks to the polymer coat, both in the barrel and in suppressors as well. CCI reports 60 to 80 percent less lead buildup in suppressors. The projectiles on these suppresor-ready rounds have been shaped for higher accuracy, over standard .22 LR ammo. As usual, CCI products will feed, fire, and cycle reliably in semi-auto platforms, pistols or rifles. Ideal for competition, or just plinking, and casual or proffesional shooters alike!

clean silencer
I cleaned two silencers, then shot 1000 rounds thru each. One with this ammo, the other with regular lead, round nose, 40Gr, subsonic ammo from the same manufacturer. I knew the difference from the beginning of the cleaning process. The clean ammo silencer disassembled with minimal effort, the other,I had to soak repeatedly with bore cleaner/gun oil and spend many patient hours for disassembly to avoid major damage to the unit!
