Camillus Knives
About Camillus
Camillus Cutlery Company has been crafting quality knives for over 148 years, beginning with founder Adolph Kastor in 1876.
Kastor, a 14-year-old German immigrant, started as a hardware worker and built one of America's oldest knife manufacturing companies.
The company established its main factory in Camillus, New York in 1894, eventually producing over 900,000 knives annually by 1910.
During World War II, Camillus manufactured over 15 million military knives for U.S., Canadian, British, and Dutch forces.
Today, under GSM Holdings ownership since 2024, Camillus continues its legacy of producing reliable knives for military, law enforcement, and outdoor enthusiasts.
