The HMR Pro Rifle stands out with its Bergara Premier Action, a meticulously designed two-lug system featuring a separate floating bolt head that ensures precise contact with the lug abutments in the action. The cone-shaped bolt nose guarantees smooth cartridge feeding, complemented by a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor. Crafted from stainless steel, the one-piece bolt body includes a pad at the rear for the threaded-in bolt handle. Enhanced durability and self-lubricating properties are achieved through the nitrided bolt head, non-rotating gas shield, bolt handle, and bolt shroud.

This rifle incorporates a TriggerTech frictionless release technology as part of its trigger assembly, paired with a two-position safety that allows the bolt handle to remain unlocked in the closed position. This innovative design enables the rifle to be safely unloaded while in the safe position.
