Armored Republic
About Armored Republic
Armored Republic was founded in 2012 by Tyler O'Neal to address the affordability and accessibility issues in civilian body armor markets.
O'Neal, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from University of Phoenix, started the company with the mission to make armor "attainable and affordable to citizens."
The company began as a literal backyard business with Tyler conducting initial test runs from his backyard before growing into a major manufacturer.
Within eight years, Armored Republic expanded from a single-person operation to employing over 100 people running three production shifts.
Today, the Phoenix, Arizona-based company has sold over 1 million armor plates and operates as an approved government contractor with the corporate mission to "Honor Christ by equipping Free Men with the tools of liberty necessary to preserve God-given rights."
