Product Details
These 5.7 magazines can fit and function within standard AR-15 lower receiver so long as CMMG's 5.7 conversion upper has been attached. If you already have CMMG's 5.7 AR upper fitted, you are good to go! These mags will run reliably, feeding up to 40 rounds of 5.7x28 ammo before locking the bolt back after the last round is fired. This last round bolt hold-open ability was maintained by the great engineers at CMMG, and will allow faster mag swaps for those who are trained to utilize the last round bolt hold-open feature on most modern AR-15's and magazines. Three magazines come in each order.

No issues in the platform
Videos available demonstrate ammo self unloading when fully loaded. The magazines purchased worked without flaw in the platform. I only tested 2 out of 3 with 20 rounds each.
Lowery receiver is a Colt LE 6920.

Bought the "pistol" version (short barrel), tested it about an hour ago. Worked flawlessly. One thing.....there was no indication as to the weight of the buffer required. I used a 4.0 oz buffer in the tube with a short/medium spring. I have found when it comes to any AR type function gun the spring size can be acquired correctly if when pulling the BCG fully back it just starts to disappear in the upper receiver, otherwise you may have feed problems. Now I have to get the 3 pack of Mags for it.
