Temporary suspension of nickel-plated cartridge cases for Critical Defense® Handgun Ammunition 5/25/21 - Hornady has experienced supply chain bottlenecks and has chosen to move forward without nickel plating for the time being.
Hornady Critical Defense ammunition eliminates clogging with the use of the patented Flex Tip bullet. Upon entering soft tissue, the tip swells and imparts equal pressure across the entire circumference of the bullet cavity. The result is unrivaled bullet expansion and performance every single time. Shiny silver nickel plating prevents corrosion. Great value for a round with proven knock down power.
