.50 Beowulf (12.7x42) Complete Upper 16" - Radical Firearms

I had to buy an actual .50 beowulf bolt for this upper to make it cycle, as this one comes with a 7.62x39mm bolt that runs, but not all the time. You don't need the whole carrier group, just the real 12.7x42mm bold to fit into the bcg that comes with it. Had one occurrence of taking a cartridge out of the chamber after hunting, and the barrel gripped the bullet, pulling the bullet out of the cartridge entirely, and dumping the powder all inside my barrel. I do notice that when hunting(you don't always fire your round if no deer show up, and have to take the same bullet out of the chamber after the hunt) each time I'd take a round back out of the chamber, the bullet would be a little further out of the casing - tipping the bullet upside down and hitting it on a wooden table would push the bullet back in it's original position in the casing. This is a good upper as long as you know how to adjust certain things like that. A lot of the problem is that the .50 beowulf case is not crimped at all, making it easy for the bullet to slip out of the casing if chambered a couple times. Overall, I love that I got a budget upper that I was finally able to tune to work. But just so you know - you'll be doing some work on this to get it to run properly and not pull your bullets out of their casing.
