Federal Hydra-Shok .38 Special 129 Grain +P JHP
This quality cartridge is one of my goto defensive rounds for home protection .357 Magnum or .38 Spl +P rated revolvers. The Federal low-recoil offering is probably a better CCW choice for snub-nose, but this round is quite manageable in K and L frame equivalents. It also feeds flawlessly in lever actions such has the Rossi M92 .357/.38 Spl ... a very versatile defensive round.
