This armor chassis system by AR500 is a rugged, lightweight, and improved second generation product. The Testudo carrier can accommodate both 10”x12” as well as 11”x14” armor panels, and features customizable fitment by using the included cummerbund, side straps, and buckles. AR500 uses a unique shoulder strap attachment point on the back so that your back armor will not hang low, which is an issue for many other plate carriers. Made from real 500D Cordura nylon as well as a 3D mesh in the insides to increase airflow and ventilation. Heavily reinforced stitching and materials are used exclusively.
