Brugger & Thomet Firearms
About B&T
B&T AG was founded in May 1991 by Karl Brugger and Heinrich Thomet in Spiez, Switzerland, initially focusing on sound suppressors for the domestic Swiss market.
The company began as Brugger & Thomet Feintechnik and was fully licensed by the Swiss government for sales, importation, and manufacturing of small arms for police and public authorities.
After Karl Brugger bought out his partner Heinrich Thomet and became sole owner, the company was renamed B&T AG in 2011 with Brugger continuing as CEO.
B&T achieved a major milestone in 2019 when the U.S. Army selected their APC9K as the Sub Compact Weapon (SCW), marking the first submachine gun contract awarded by the Army in over 50 years.
Today, B&T continues to embody Swiss precision engineering with innovative firearms and suppressors used by law enforcement, military, and civilian customers in over 40 countries worldwide.
