The point behind the .300 Advanced Armament Corporation round was to give the AR/M4 platform a heavier punch at close range using the original lower receiver and with it, standard 5.56/.223 mags. While it does work, it does not always work effectively: the bullets are thicker and do not stack the same way as the NATO standard. Hence the purpose-built .300 AAC mags. Ammunition Depot knows there is nothing worse than suffering feed jams.
