About Rimfire Ammo

Invented in 1845 by Louis-Nicolas Flobert, rimfire ammunition is a popular type of ammo where the firing pin strikes the cartridge's rim to ignite the primer. This is different from centerfire ammunition, where the primer is in the center of the cartridge base.
